Highlighting Health issues with concerned organizations

ျမန္မာဒုကၡသည္မ်ား၏ က်န္းမာေရးကိစၥမ်ားကို တင္ျပေပးျခင္း
(1) On 4-5-2005, representatives from UNHCR, VHAD and UNHCR Geneva visited Yamuna Clinic
(2) On 5-7-2005, Mary Lobo visited Yamuna Clinic for survey for recommendation to UNHCR
(3) On 15-7-2005, an American medical student Chris Gelsdorf from San Francisco University visited Yamuna Clinic and discussed on health situation of Burmese refugees and conducted behaviour change project. Twenty 20-liter drinking water pots were distributed.

(4) On 23-8-2005, Yamuna clinic discussed with Psycho-social support and mental health care to explore to promote psychological health of Burmese refugees.
(5) On 17-10-2005, Ann Burton, regional HIV-AIDS technical officer from UNHCR, Bangkok visited Yamuna Clinic.
(6) Yamuna Clinic representative is being invited by UNHCR to discuss issues of Burmese community
(7) On 20-12-2007 NHEC/WR organized a meeting among all Health officials and workers and 5 representatives from Yamuna Clinic participated
(8) On 4-4-2008, 28-5-2008 and 8-8-2008, Stefen Tonsing and Ms Thui from Don Bosco Ashalayam visited Yamuna Clinic
(9) On 8-9-2008, Daw Mya Mya Aye had meeting at YMCA and discussed for the plight of Burmese pregnant women
(10) On 12-9-2008, UNHCR Senior Regional Public Health & Nutitrion Officer for Asia Dr. Herve Isambert and representatives from UNHCR met with medical officer of Yamuna Clinic
(11) 20-11-08 Daw Mya Mya Aye, Dr. Tint Swe and representatives of Burmese community participated in Workshop on displaced populations including refugees and related vulnerabilities to HIV-AIDS organized by Socio Legal Information Assistance centre (HRLN) UNAIDS Preparatory Assistance (to UNDP, UNHCR and ILO) at India International Centre
